the day Tuesday, December 21 there was a meeting between ABI and the Trade Unions . during which
the Banking Association has presented a draft "Protocol" application of the contractual arrangements relating to the Agreement separate
January 22, 2009.
Overall the document was considered unsatisfactory and the situation not desirable. Moreover
ABI forgot to state clearly whether it will truly renew the CCNL in 2011.
The wish expressed by the Deputy Secretary General DirCredito, Augustine Cassara, is to continue and intensify joint efforts of the Trade Unions and the employers' side against the Government for the revival of the Solidarity Fund of sectors as only available instrument to manage responsibly
situations of crisis in the credit sector.
